This was slightly harder to make than the cartoon one. Original meme by *KillerSandy: [link]
10. Hamtaro (2000 - 200?) An adorable series with hamsters in it. Don't deny that this got you to ask your parents for one of these little guys as a pet.
9. Azumanga Daioh (2002) 9 years ago, this was on a Best Comedies list in an anime magazine, so I looked it up on On Demand and I got hooked.
8. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (2009 - 2010) Since this was a more faithful adaptation of the manga than the first show, I find this better.
7. Ranma 1/2 (1989 - 1996) I put this on the list not only because of great voice actors, but also because of the comedy.
6. Yu Yu Hakusho (1992 - 1996) I put this on the list because it's gripping. And it has supernatural elements!
5. Tenchi Muyo! (1992) Another source of inspiration, specifically, Ryo-Ohki.
4 Hetalia (2008 - 201?) For the most part, it's an arguably more P.C. take on national stereotypes than any of the old cartoons. It also educates the viewer about history.
3. Dragon Ball Z (1989 - 1996) This was to anime as The Simpsons were to western animation, and this was one of several sources of inspiration for my art.
2. Sailor Moon (1992 - 1997) Being someone with 2 X Chromosomes, it's essential for me to have this on the list. The best season in my opinion is S.
1. Yu-Gi-Oh! (2000 - 2004) Forget One Piece, Naruto, and especially Bleach; this is much better. I had a crush on the main character when I was 10.
Yugioh has always been one of my favorite animes (along with One Piece). I remember watching Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo on Toonami...fortunately I don't remember much of the series. ;
I like it~
I like it very very much~
